Employee Health Assessments
According to the CIPD Employee Absence survey,
the average annual cost of sickness absence per employee is approximately
£522, and furthermore many respondents did not include such hidden
costs as replacement workers, overtime or lost production, all of
which could make sickness absence a much more costly experience
for employers. Few businesses have the benefit of contracts with
occupational health service providers, and to fill this gap, we
provide a range of employment health assessments which you can access
on an ad-hoc basis.
- Pre-Employment
Health Assessment
Ensure that potential health problems are identified before the
employee joins the workforce. If screening highlights problems
or potential problems we can guide you through the options and,
if necessary, arrange for the applicant to undergo more detailed
examinations.
- Night
Worker Follow-Up
Now you can fully comply with the Working Time Regulations requirement
to ensure that your night workers have regular health checks.
This questionnaire is used to re-assess employees who already
work at night.
- Night
Worker Medical Assessment
Now you can fully comply with the Working Time Regulations requirement
to ensure that your night workers have regular health checks.
This questionnaire is designed for any individual new to night
work and is aimed to identify any medical condition he/she may
be suffering from that could be made worse by regularly working
at night.
- Management Referral
Recurrent periods of sickness absence or prolonged absence due
to more serious problems are one of the largest costs in most
businesses. We can help you assess the situation by providing
a confidential, jargon-free report following an in-depth investigation
of the case by liaising with the employee's GP and/or specialists.
